Coffee Arabica

The story of Coffee has its beginning in Ethiopia, the original home of the coffee plant, coffee arabica, which still grows wild in the forest of the Ethiopian highlands. Ethiopian coffee is rich with original flavor and aroma because of the geographical (altitude, soil, temperature, rainfall, topography, ecology), genotypic and cultural variety within the country. Coffee has been growing in Ethiopia for thousands of years, in the forests of southwestern highlands in Kefa. This place is also the cradle of arabica coffee, one of the finest coffees in the world. Indeed, around 5,000 varieties of wild coffee grow in the shade of the mighty trees in Ethiopia. The country is the seventh-largest coffee producer in the world and the biggest in Africa. Ethiopian coffee beans are known for their distinct fruit flavors and amid high acidity. They make a great cold brew coffee, or an afternoon brew when one is looking for something a little distinct.
